The Moso Bamboo Tree

In the far east the Moso bamboo tree grows. For the first year after planting, it will grow a few inches. The second, third and fourth it will continue to grow a few inches every year. Then something happened in the fifth year and for two months it grows ninety feet. During the first four years it prepared the root system to support that growth. Its growth teaches the life lessons of patience, persistence, faith, and growth that every person has.

As you continue your Masonic growth and journey consider what you could be doing now to support your growth and act on it.

Thank you to everyone who came out for regular communication last Tuesday night. A good time of fellowship was had by all. Beginning 5/27 we will begin having a monthly All You Can Eat Breakfast Fundraiser on the last Saturday of the month for $7.00. All proceeds will be placed toward the Philanthropic Fund. Don't forget to mark your calendars and plan to attend the 28th Annual 22nd District Outdoor Degree at Caldwell Farm Saturday 4/21. The degree team will be made up of officers from different lodges in the district. Bring a lawn chair and a current dues card. Lunch at 12:00, work and 1:00. Hope to see you there.

Fraternally,
